What once bore the misshapen figure of an elusive fantasy, resembles the matured curves and bends of a wish fulfilled. Niche collects and analyzes data from the U.S. Department of Education in conjunction with the site’s users. Each factor, ranging from Composite SAT/ACT Score, Top Colleges Score, College Enrollment, Culture & Diversity, Parent/Student Surveys on Overall Experience, to Student-Teacher Ratio, underwent examination, deeming Al-Huda #1 in PG County.
A phrase that could have only roamed the minds of the school’s hopeful founders in their youth—young Muslims harboring lofty dreams of a vast, flourishing community— has reached fruition. “I am grateful that the work of Al-Huda’s administration, staff, and students is setting a standard for the Deen of Allah (T’ala). Only He is worthy of praise. I’m sure I can speak for the founders when I add that their only intention in founding this institution was to have a vehicle for da’wa. This report is a testament to that purpose. May Allah (T’ala) preserve Al-Huda. Ameen,” said AP English and Government teacher, Zaynab Abdullah.
“For me, hearing this news is such a validation: it validates the hard work and dedication that we teachers invest into our students. It lets us know that our efforts have not been in vain and that we should reflect upon what’s working and improve on it in order to maintain this status,” Al-Huda School elementary teacher, Hasannah Ali, said. “As a graduate of Al-Huda it gives me pride in my education and humbles me to know that I’m now amongst the educators that are making a difference in Muslim children’s lives,” she continued.
Teachers and students alike celebrated the school’s achievement, expressing a collective sense of pride.
“Through all my school's ups and downs, every setback made for this major comeback. I am so grateful and proud to be a part of such a big accomplishment, and I will forever cherish the lessons learned and memories made here,” said high school student, Israah Ansari.
“Masha Allah, that [award] doesn't surprise me. It makes me proud to be part of this organization, which is a unique part of our Muslim community. I will continue to perform my job to the best of my abilities and hopefully always in a manner that is pleasing to Allah,”

Niche’s report, though a call for celebration, has only spurred the visions of Al-Huda School teachers and staff, with the promise that anything is possible with the help of Allah.
