Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

We are so thankful to Allah subhanahu wa talla that he has blessed us with all of you!

Brothers and sisters, beloved heart, we know these are challenging times...these are unprecedented times with the pandemic. So many of our beloved brothers and sisters, our family members are suffering and getting sick. We know things are challenging, but we also know beloved brothers and sisters, that we have Allah on our side, we have Allah who is the one who is in charge of everything, is here to help us, to support us in shaa Allah as long as we put our trust in him.

Beloved students, I wanted to remind all of us about our four goals as an institution. These four things that we really hope that you will learn through your experience, through your time at the school. The four main things that we hope we will all learn and practice can be summarized in four words know, show, glow and grow.

Number one Know Allah his beautiful names, his attributes to know how amazing Allah is, how merciful Allah is, how compassionate Allah is, to know that whatever Allah tells us is the best, whatever Allah wants us to do is the best, that our deen the Quran and the Sunnah of Al-Rasool Sallallahu alaihi wa salaam is the best.

Number two Show our gratitude to Allah to be thankful to Allah, to appreciate Allah in our hearts by feeling the sense of love and appreciation of Allah through our tongues by thanking Allah, by talking about the blessings of Allah, by saying positive things even though we are in a pandemic.

Number three Glow with the message of Allah so when you know Allah when you realize how amazing he is, the third thing is to then show people and to share with people what an amazing message of Islam you have. To glow with the message of Islam means to share this beautiful deen, this beautiful knowledge about Allah that you have this beautiful Quran to share it with everybody.

Number four Grow an intentional community, to build a community where we are together for the sake of Allah, when we do things for the sake of Allah when we remind each other for the sake of Allah.
Beloved hearts, that is exactly what we are trying to do, to bring all of us together from all different backgrounds from all different nationalities, to bring everyone together for the sake of Allah so we can be together as a community.

We will be talking to you about this a lot more in the upcoming weeks in shaa Allah, once again welcome back everyone, we love you all and we are so happy to have you back and we look forward to a wonderful school year in shaa Allah.

Jazaakumullaahu Khayran.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Haroon Baqai
